Un any més, l’alumnat de 1r d’ESO que han fet l’optativa en anglès “From the Arctic to Antarctica” han participat al concurs de disseny de banderes de l’Antàrtida. Aquest concurs està organitzat per la UK Polar Network per celebrar,  l’1 de desembre, el dia internacional de l’Antàrtida.

Enguany les banderes han arribat a l’Antàrtida a bord del vaixell RRS Sir David Attenborough (https://www.bas.ac.uk/polar-operations/sites-and-facilities/facility/rrs-sir-david-attenborough/), de la mà de la Theresa Gossman, una tècnica de laboratori de l’equip British Antarctic Survey. La imatge es va fer al Canal de Lemaire, a la Península Antàrtica Oriental.

ENGLISH: Once again, students from 1st ESO taking the elective subject in English “From the Arctic to Antarctica” have participated in the Antarctica Flag Contest.
This contest is organized every year by the UK Polar Network, to celebrate Antarctica Day on December 1st. 
Our flags travelled to Antartica with Theresa Gossman, a lab manager with the British Antarctic Survey. She travelled to Antarctica on the RRS Sir David Attenborough.
